TREKKING CHIMGAN MOUNTAINS (T41)
 (WESTERN TIEN-SHAN, CHATKAL RANGES)
 
Day 1: Early departure from Tashkent to the valley Galvaysay the village (L = 95 km; T = 1:00 30min).  We start our trekking by going up to the hill between Tukizil and Galvaysay villages. We keep walking on the ridge, so it’s quite panoramic. On the way we have rest on the meadow where we have lunch Close to cliffs we cross the way, go down to the village Uchterak(H=1240m)where we put our camp.
 
Day 2:  Early in the morning after breakfast we walk across the valley and ascent toward to Archali pass (H-1590) where you can see pack of horses and livestock and shepherds summer pastures. After picnic we continue our hiking along the hills of Kzyljar(H=1860m). On a good path we go down to the pass Melovoy(H=1690m). We cross the way and reach to the Aksay river arrays on foot of Big Chimgan where we camp (H=1730m)
 
Day 3: Having had breakfast we begin our walk on a good trail along Aksai stream to the Aksai Waterfall (H=2200m).  Snow fields can be found in the waterfall area until mid July.  Having enjoyed the sight of the fall and scenic rock formations around it, we descend to a small birch-tree grove and have lunch by a stream that originates from a mountain spring.  Rested, we go up to the Black Fall (H=2090m).  Those who are not eager to do so, can stay by the Aksai stream and wait for the rest of the group to return. Return to camping.
 
Day 4:  In the morning we move along the crest of the ridge through the undulating red cliff (Kyzyljar) (H-1845) Lunch at a local shepherd summer pasture. Whole day in our last day trekking we keep walking on the top of ridges, so today is quite panoramic. After several hours walk we reach to the peak “ last” where you can see Charvak lake , then we rest and  walk down to the hotel Chorvak Oromgohi (H = 950m.) where we meet with our driver. Return to Tashkent (L = 100 km; T = 1 hour 30 minutes).
