NIGHT LIGHTS OF SAMARKAND
TREKKING TO EASTERN TIAN-SHAN, TURKISTAN RANGES
 
1 Day: Early departure from Tashkent through Samarkand in the mountain village Agalyk
(L =350 km, H = 950m).From the village on a good path we start our hiking toward to the place «Aerodrom" the southern slope of the mountain Kemkutan (T = 2hours H = 1350m). Lunch in a small grove of trees in canyon (T = 1 hour). Then through the trail with steep ascent we go up to the ridge saddle on a rocky mountain top Kemkutan (T = 3hours H = 2186m). Camp on the southern slope below the summit. We walk along the crest where you enjoy from beautiful evening panorama. After dinner, we watch night lights of Samarkand.
 
2 Day: After breakfast the descent from the summit to the village Agalyk (T = 4 hours). Lunch at the mulberry tree in front of the village. After lunch we walk in the village meet with local people and you know better their traditions. Then we meet with driver. Moving through Samarkand to Tashkent (L = 350 km).)
