7 Days Trekking to Zarkent & Chimgan

Early departure from Tashkent to the valley Kumishkan (L=65km; T=1h.). We start our trekking by crossing to the left bank of Shaukatsa river (H=1370m). Ascent continues about two hours till Shaukattau(H=2120m)where you can enjoy from majestic view of surrounded mountains and valleys. After lunch and rest we go down to the Parkensai. Having crossed the river on the top of the first hill we put our first day camp


After breakfast we move toward to the mountain Surenata (H=2000m). Today’s hiking offers full of fauna and flora. We go through the Kumishkan valley on a good path. Lunch near small spring. After rest we start ascent to the top of Surenata where opens 360 degree of panorama. Then we go down to the valley Gidjal. Camping near the small lake (H=1410m).


After breakfast we walk down to Aksakata river and we cross the bridge (Н=1000м) and go toward to Marble Line (remains of ancient sea) then through the line go up the meadow where we have lunch in the shepherd’s shelter. After rest we climb to Mount Kokbet (Н=1800м). Then we have a short break. Then keep walking until we reach to the small spring where we camp.


Early in the morning we continue our trekking by going up to Maygashkan (H=2350m) where opens marvelous view of surrounded mountains and valleys. Then after one hour walk we stop work for lunch. After several hours hiking we reach to hydrometstation to the top of Kumbel ridge (H=2250) where appears nice panorama of great big Chimgan and Beldersay and Nurekata valleys. Overnight in the tent.


After breakfast go down to the valley of the river Beldersay. Here you can enjoy with unique beauty of nature. We reach to Chet Kumbel (H=1870m) through the forest and have lunch near the small spring. Straightly from spring we start ascent to Beldersay rock carvings (H=2450m) which takes about 4 hours. Lunch. After rest though the Beldersay gorge, decent to the river. Close to big fir tree, we put our camping.


Having had big breakfast, we move toward to ChetKumbel (H=1830m), then decent to Beldersay valley through Urta Kumbel(H=1830m) reach to the marble river. And move to the upper river and climb to the pass Takhtajaylou (H = 2000m) Then walk down and go to river Aksai, to the slope arrays of Big Chimgan. Overnight in the tent.


Early in the morning we start ascent to Big Chimgan (H=3309m) which takes 5 hours from the northern slopes of Chimgan. When we reach to the peak, you are enjoyed by majestic panorama of surrounded valleys and mountains. After lunch and rest we go down in the same way. Return to Tashkent (L=85km; T=1h. 20 min).
